EL GOBERNADOR POGGI PUSO EN FUNCIONES A LA NUEVA CÚPULA DE LA POLICÍA
El acto, encabezado por el jefe de Estado puntano, se realizó en la Plaza de Armas de la Jefatura Central de Policía. Designó a Pablo Alejandro Vieytes al frente de las fuerzas de seguridad. Además, asumieron el subjefe, la plana mayor y los jefes de las unidades regionales de la Policía de la provincia de San Luis.
Tolerancia cero con el delito. Con esa frase sintetizó el nuevo jefe de Policía, Pablo Alejandro Vieytes, el objetivo que tendrá la fuerza durante su gestión.
Durante la tarde soleada de este miércoles, el gobernador Claudio Poggi presidió la ceremonia de la asunción de las nuevas autoridades de la cúpula policial. El jefe de Estado estuvo acompañado por el vicegobernador Ricardo Endeiza, integrantes del gabinete provincial, representantes de los poderes Legislativo y Judicial y miembros de la familia policial.
La ceremonia inició con el ingreso de las banderas de ceremonias, la entonación del Himno Nacional interpretado por la Banda de Música de la Policía Provincial, un solemne minuto de silencio por aquellos oficiales que perdieron su vida y la bendición del capellán Aníbal Sosa, quien afirmó que “es un tiempo de pocas palabras y más acciones que arrastren y humildad para servir”.
Seguidamente, el Gobernador le tomó juramento al jefe y al subjefe de Policía, Pablo Alejandro Vieytes y Alberto Nicolás Tello, respectivamente, quienes agradecieron al jefe de Estado por la confianza para ser designados en estos cargos.
El titular de la fuerza pública, tras poner en funciones a los integrantes de la plana mayor, brindó un mensaje en el que resumió los tres ejes de su gestión: prevención de delitos y presencia policial en las calles, lucha contra el narcotráfico y optimizar y profesionalizar a los efectivos.
“Tenemos objetivos claros para reducir los delitos mayores. Apuntamos a una provincia segura donde la gente pueda vivir en paz y los turistas la visiten y se afinquen. Se trata de volver a vivir en una comunidad limpia, respetuosa”, comentó Vieytes, quien además reiteró que el foco está en la prevención y “no guardarse en la comisaría”, reforzar los controles en caminos, rutas, localidades y ciudades, y el reconocimiento a través del mérito. “Nuestro trabajo es vocación de servicio y entrega”, afirmó.
Al finalizar el encuentro, la ministra de Seguridad, Nancy Sosa, dialogó con los medios de prensa y enfatizó que es fundamental jerarquizar a la Policía. “La institución tiene obligaciones, responsabilidades y derechos. Tiene que volver a recuperar su norte, la verticalidad, la disciplina, el prestigio por mérito, no por el dedo de nadie. Solo así vamos a obtener los mejores conductores en la fuerza”.
