Interrupción Voluntaria del Embarazo: comienza su vigencia legal en todo el país
La ley del «aborto» entro en vigencia desde este domingo y las organizaciones feministas piden que se dé cumplimiento efectivo
La ley 27.610, denominada IVE (Interrupción Voluntaria del embarazo) comenzó a regir en todo el territorio nacional a partir de las 00 horas de este domingo, y coloca al país entre aquéllos que aprobó la controvertida ley. Desde el Ministerio de las Mujeres, Géneros y Diversidad apuestan a una aplicación inmediata y efectiva de la misma, y la propia ministra, Elizabeth Gómez Alcorta viene bregando para que así sea, pese a los pedidos de varias provincias de que se retrasará su aplicación. Algunos de estos pedidos ya fueron rechazados por la justicia, como en el caso de Salta.
Esta ley entra en vigencia a partir de su promulgación mediante el decreto 14/2021 que firmó el presidente Alberto Fernández el pasado 15 de enero, dando así cumplimiento al pedido que desde el feminismo se le hiciera a la máxima autoridad, y que fuera una promesa de campaña. Hasta ahora, una de las pocas cumplidas.
Las promotoras del aborto legal, vienen manifestando desde la Campaña Nacional por el Derecho al Aborto Legal, que la puesta en vigencia de esta ley es “un triunfo de la lucha colectiva” de las mujeres, y esperan avanzar en más medidas que den protección y cuidado a las mujeres argentinas.
No obstante, al ser una ley controvertida, los grupos a favor de las Dos Vidas no dan la cosa por finalizada, y seguirán insistiendo, por la vía judicial para la derogación de la ley o la imposibilidad de su aplicación, aunque, como ya se mencionó, han tenido un primer revés judicial en Salta, en dónde el juzgado Federal N° 1, en cabeza de Julio Bavio, rechazó el pedido colectivo interpuesto por una ex senadora nacional. Por ahora la lucha continuará, ya que, al parecer no es un tema cerrado, y el debate continua en todos los ámbitos, sean estos académicos, políticos o en la calle.
Lo que sí es claro, que más allá de las opiniones, la entrada en vigor del decreto que promulga la ley está vigente, y junto con el se promueve también el “Plan de los 1000 días”, para garantizar la salud en el embarazo y la primera infancia, extendiendo el subsidio universal por embarazo (AUE). Asimismo, las organizaciones pro aborto enfatizaron la necesidad de la producción de Misoprostol para que llegue a todos los rincones del país. El debate sigue en danza, mientras se aplica la ley.
