El Gran Reinicio: Comenzó el Foro de Davos y las miradas están puestas en China.

Bajo el lema del «Gran reinicio» comenzó esta semana el foro económico de Davos. Se trata de su edición 51° que este año se realiza en dos etapas del 25 al 29 de este mes en forma de diálogos virtuales y en mayo de forma presencial en Singapur.

Forman parte de este foro diferentes líderes globales de los gobiernos, empresarios, organizaciones internacionales, medios de comunicación globales, intelectuales, civiles como por ejemplo este año líderes juveniles, y tratan cada año temas de incumbencia mundial .

Con la aparición de la pandemia del Covid 19 este año se trata de la reconstrucción luego del desafío que representó este año 2020 y del desarrollo sostenible e inclusivo de los países, cómo será la recuperación, teniendo en cuenta el medio ambiente y la tecnología.

Este año al foro lo inaugura nada más y nada menos que el presidente chino Xi Jinping, lo que no es ninguna casualidad ya que quedó demostrado que cada vez serán más importantes las relaciones entre Oriente y Occidente.

“Este año Asia pasará a representar más del 50% del PIB mundial y desde hace tiempo ya supone más del 50% de la población del mundo”, así lo presentó días pasados, el Presidente del Foro Económico Mundial Borge Brende.

Durante el catastrófico 2020 China fue el único país que presentó un crecimiento económico positivo. Según la Oficina Nacional de Estadísticas (ONE) de China, el PIB de la nación creció en un 2,3%. 

Estos datos son los que llevan la mirada obligada a China por lo que se le asignó a , Xi Jinping, el discurso inaugural del Foro este 25 de enero. Lo hizo con un mensaje con una clara línea, llamando al multilateralismo como una solución para afrontar la crisis económica actual. 

Entre sus mensajes le mandó uno a Biden, cuando textualmente dijo «Construir pequeñas camarillas o comenzar una nueva Guerra Fría, rechazar, amenazar o intimidar a otros solo empujará al mundo a la división».

Alberto Fernández será expositor en el foro este jueves 28 en representación de América Latina.
