El alcance de la cultura en los pueblos: Museo de la poesía en La Carolina
Un museo y biblioteca al pie del cerro Tomolasta a pocos metros del casco de La Carolina, nos invita a pensar el por qué de una biblioteca a 2000 metros sobre el nivel del mar y las respuestas son muchas. Se inauguró en 2007 como Museo de la Poesía en homenaje a Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur quien había nacido en este pueblo en 1979, cuando todavía en La Carolina aún se explotaba el oro.
No se trata de un simple monumento u homenaje sino que dentro de este complejo se encuentran enterrados los restos del artista, algo que logró el Gobierno Provincial con investigación y esfuerzo ya que Lafinur había fallecido en Chile y hubo que gestionar la repatriación de sus restos.
Esto forma parte de la reconstrucción de la identidad de la Provincia, se trata del rescate del anonimato de un artista que merece trascender y ser reconocido por su aporte a la cultura, al arte, y que contribuyó al tesoro cultural provincial y en definitiva al patrimonio artístico del país.
Este museo cuenta con más de 1700 manuscritos originales de autores locales, nacionales e internacionales como Jorge Luis Borges, Mujica Lainez, Fermín Estrella Gutiérrez, Rafael Alberti, Pedro Mardodo, Barrientos, Ernesto Sábato, Juana de Ibarbourou, Antonio Esteban Agüero, Edna Possi. Esto además le da notoriedad pública a la provincia en su conjunto y atrae hasta turismo internacional.
Tener este tipo de documentación, fuentes primarias, implica todo una logística detrás como la conservación de los mismos. Por otro lado en este museo se incorporan constantemente nuevos manuscritos originales y libros.
Además de una biblioteca especializada tiene un café literario, servicio de internet y sala de audiovisuales para los visitantes. Es un lugar de actos culturales, al que se invitan autores regionales o de afuera, que atrae y convoca a que la cultura llegue a los pueblos y que a su vez se expanda de los pueblos hacia afuera.
Si bien la cultura fluye como el agua y siempre encuentra una forma de escabullirse y aparecer de alguna manera, este tipo de lugares que en la práctica ofician de museo, biblioteca y centro cultural, son un incentivo y un vector que facilita su aparición y trascendencia.
