Siete dotaciones de bomberos trabajan incansablemente para contener las llamas

Pasadas las 22hs del día de ayer, se detectaron las llamas en la zona de boxes de este importante autódromo. Rápidamente, se extendieron a distintas instalaciones, arrasando con la sala de prensa, el salón vip, y el Race Control.

En el siniestro trabajaron 7 dotaciones de bomberos voluntarios, no se detectaron víctimas fatales, pero los daños materiales fueron cuantiosos. Todavía se desconocen las causas que iniciaron el fuego, pero ya están trabajando la policía y distintas dependencias municipales para tratar de encontrar una explicación a lo sucedido.

Los vecinos de la zona estaban muy asustados, ya que las llamas podían verse desde lejos, por lo que generaron gran malestar y angustia. No obstante, la apresurada intervención de los efectivos policiales y de los bomberos impidió que este desastre fuera peor.

El director general del autódromo, Héctor Fariña, destacó que “el Museo del Automóvil se reabrirá al público en los próximos días”, no obstante, está en duda si se podrán realizar los eventos que están programas para el resto del año, entre ellos, el MotoGP en noviembre de 2021. Por suerte, el predio cuenta con seguro total contra incendio, por lo que sólo quedaría poder comenzar la reconstrucción una vez pasada la actuación policial y de los bomberos. Pero las obras llevarán su tiempo, y es probable que para los amantes de las carreras la espera de la reconstrucción va a ser larga.
