El Millonario ya logró un acuerdo por Agustín Palavecino y se evalúa el retorno de dos jugadores al club.

Agustín Palavecino, de destacado paso por Colombia, vestirá la banda roja. Créditos: Marca Claro Argentina.

El equipo de Núñez comenzó a buscar jugadores: las ventas de Sosa a la MLS y la inminente partida de Nacho Fernandez ayudaron a las arcas del club, que ahora se mueve para mantener su plantel competitivo. El primero en llegar fue el volante ofensivo Agustín Palavecino.

El joven, ex Platense, era uno de los deseos de Gallardo para este receso. Tras semanas de negociación acordaron que River desembolse 2.5 millones de dólares por la mitad del pase de Palavecino: pagará una parte ahora y el resto antes del 31 de Junio. Así, el Millonario pasa a contar con una de las figuras de la Liga Colombiana, que dejó 19 goles en 74 partidos con Deportivo Cali.

Otro de los puestos que busca reforzar Marcelo Gallardo es la zaga central, de bajo nivel tras la partida de Martinez Quarta. Quienes sonaron en las últimas horas fueron Jonathan Maidana y David Martínez, ambos con pasado en el club. El bicampeón de América viene de quedar libre en el Toluca Mexicano y es buscado por otros equipos del país, como Vélez y Estudiantes -LP-. El juvenil fue uno de los puntos altos del plantel que ganó la Sudamericana con Defensa y Justicia: la idea de River es recomprar parte del pase que le vendió en 2019 al Halcón.

Resta saber como seguirán las negociaciones, aunque se esperan nuevas incorporaciones en Núñez.
