El senador, fue el mismo que hace un tiempo crítico al jefe de gobierno de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, por no haberse aplicado la vacuna Sputnik V, y a raíz de esto, se había contagiado de Covid 19, aunque desconociendo que la aplicación de la vacuna es voluntaria, y no se pueden vulnerar los derechos de los pacientes.
Recalde, parece olvidar que hasta hace sólo unos pocos días no se tenían datos oficiales de la vacuna, y solo con la salida en The Lancet se logró cierto piso de confianza para una vacuna, que como el resto de las que hay en danza, tienen muy poco de recorrido en el mercado. La seguridad sobre la inocuidad de la misma estuvo en duda durante todo este tiempo y no sólo por la oposición, sino que los propios trabajadores del sistema de salud se negaban a recibirla, salvo los kirchneristas. A veces escupir para arriba en política suele costar caro, y hasta ahora ha sido la táctica de la coalición gobernante para discutir con la oposición. El problema es que la realidad suele serles esquiva y terminan todos en ridículo, incluido el propio presidente.
