Fin de semana de Carnaval en Merlo: ocupación plena y alta oferta de actividades

El centro histórico de la Villa se prepara para albergar a vecinos y turistas con más de 25 propuestas.

La plaza Marqués de Sobremonte tendrá una nutrida oferta artística y gastronómica. Créditos: Prensa y Difusión Merlo.

Luego de un año difícil para el turismo, el fin de semana que se aproxima parece una bocanada de aire fresco para el comerciante merlino. El primer fin se semana con un 100% de ocupación fue el del 24 de Enero, en el marco del Gran Premio Ciclístico.

Santiago Trobo, Secretario de Turismo merlino, afirmó en El Corredor Noticias: «Carnaval es el segundo finde que vamos a tener con ocupación plena». Se mostró feliz por los números obtenidos en Enero. Sin embargo, para estos días anticipó la llegada de 15.000 turistas.

Además, Trobo confirmó fuerte actividad para las empresas turísticas, ya que se prevén 24 contingentes llenos haciendo city tour ese fin de semana. Ante la llegada masiva de gente, se esperan controles de ingreso en Ruta 1 y Carlos Gardel y un fuerte control a los establecimientos. La idea de la Municipalidad es asegurarse de que los protocolos sean cumplidos para evitar la sobrepoblación de consultas en centros de salud.
