Fue acordado ayer por la tarde, tras la reunión entre la plana mayor de la Policía y los vecinos merlinos.

La reunión surgió a causa del aumento de la delincuencia en la zona. Créditos: El Corredor Noticias.

Luego de los 5 robos ocurridos en el barrio la semana pasada, los vecinos decidieron tomar cartas en el asunto. El día 16 los merlinos se congregaron en Juan B. Justo y Rey del Bosque para reclamar la escalada de inseguridad. En aquel encuentro se solicitó una reunión con el Ministro de Seguridad puntano, Luciano Anastasi, que también incluya al cuerpo policial.

Pese a que la reunión estaba pactada para la semana próxima el encuentro se adelantó. Ayer por la tarde, la plana mayor de la Policía provincial asistió al encuentro y escuchó las demandas vecinales. Estuvieron presentes Darío Neira, jefe policial; Claudio Latini, subjefe de la fuerza; Pablo Álvarez, jefe de la Unidad Regional III. Además, asistió el Comisario Carlos Pereyra y los jefes de las dos dependencias locales.

Quien también estuvo fue Dionisio Funes, Jefe General de Operaciones. Funes explicó al El Corredor Noticias que se emplazará un comando operacional móvil. El mismo contará con motos, vehículos móviles y vehículos no identificables. Todos ellos harán tareas de inteligencia y prevención, usando la tecnología de identificación personal Morpho Rapid.

Según Funes, el comando irá cambiando de lugar. Además, remarcó la importancia de mantener limpios los terrenos de la zona y tener la luminaria en buen estado.
