Destacada colecta de fondos en la villa para salvar la vida de un joven vecino. Maxi tiene 16 años y sufrió un grave accidente en motocicleta.

Maxi es vecino del barrio 227 viviendas.

La semana pasada Maxi Juárez chocó con su moto. El saldo para el joven fue grave: el siniestro fracturó su columna vertebral y dejó afectado uno de sus pulmones. Por la gravedad del cuadro, Maxi fue trasladado al Hospital Juan Domingo Perón de Villa Mercedes.

Naturalmente, el costo del tratamiento era muy elevado para la familia. En primer lugar, debe recibir una prótesis para su columna. Esta primer intervención le daría a los médicos más certezas sobre como será la movilidad del joven. Sin embargo, aseguran que le espera un tratamiento muy largo y duro.

Ante el panorama desolador los vecinos de Merlo se congregaron para dar una mano al joven. Lograron vender 350 docenas de empanadas gracias a las donaciones recibidas en el Herradura Rugby Club, donde el joven practica. Asimismo, el Cirque XXI realizó una función especial para recolectar fondos, y donó $40.000 a la causa. El dinero fue entregado por el dueño del circo, Fabián Lopez, quien agradeció a la villa por el apoyo brindado los 11 meses en lo que el circo no pudo abrir por la pandemia.

Mientras Merlo trabaja para apoyar a uno de sus hijos, el joven Maxi aguarda internado en el Juan Domingo Perón. Su situación es delicada aún y la familia está a la espera de la prótesis para su columna. Sin embargo, tiene a sus espaldas una ciudad entera que lo apoya y espera verlo pronto.
