Obra Pública: Alberto Rodríguez Saá firmó un convenio con el Gobierno Nacional para la urbanización de barrios populares
El acuerdo alcanzaría apertura de calles, instalación de servicios, arbolado público y el desarrollo de centros de integración cultural ciudadana

Ayer martes, el gobernador firmó un importante convenio de cooperación con el gobierno nacional para avanzar en la urbanización de barrios populares de la provincia que figuran en el Registro Nacional de Barrios Populares que se hizo en 2017. La reunión, que se hizo por videollamada, con el Ministro de Desarrollo Social Daniel Arroyo, y que contó también con la presencia de Federico Berardo, quien conduce la misma cartera en la provincia, fue positiva y permite avanzar en una primera etapa de urbanización.
Si bien la provincia venía trabajando en la urbanización de muchos de estos barrios, la firma de este convenio marco va a permitir avanzar con mayor rapidez en la implementación de la obra pública que tanto se necesita para mejorar la calidad de vida de quienes viven allí. En declaraciones a la Agencia de Noticias de San Luis, el gobernador expresó: “Comparto la concepción del plan, es maravillosa, y también el criterio de que se trabaje con la urgencia que el tema requiere. Vamos a encarar la ejecución con rapidez, inteligencia y con el corazón que la señora Eva Perón nos pedía que pusiéramos”.
En esta primera etapa solo se van a incluir los barrios que estén en el Registró Nacional y que no hayan sido urbanizados por la provincia, como el barrio República o San José, pero como señaló el ministro Berardo: “más adelante, se podrá ver si se incorporan nuevos barrios”.
Como broche de oro, el convenio también tiene una cláusula que es de sumo interés para la provincia, porque permite el desarrollo económico local, ya que, el 25% de la mano de obra para ejecutar estas obras tiene que ser de cooperativas de trabajo que residan en la zona o beneficiarios de planes sociales, sean nacionales o provinciales, que tengan su residencia a nivel local. Todo un logro para la provincia.
