Desde el Municipio ponen el foco en la actividad física y la vida sana. Habrá Caminatas Nocturnas y Carreras de autos sin motor.

La Secretaría de Deportes, Recreación y Hábitos Saludables de Villa de Merlo continúa proponiendo actividades recreativas, que combinan el esfuerzo físico con el aprovechamiento de los paisajes de la localidad.

Este viernes se realizará una Caminata Nocturna, con un recorrido de dificultad media-baja. El punto será el Camping Municipal del Rincón del Este a las 21 horas. La caminata, de unos 6 km y dos horas de duración, pasará por la Casa de Damiana Vega. Quienes asistan podrán apreciar el entorno natural mientras disfrutan la salida de la luna llena. Lamentablemente, los cupos para esta propuesta están llenos.

Además, el domingo 28 comienza el «1° Campeonato de verano de Ruedas Libres», protagonizado por vehículos sin motor. Serán 3 fechas a disputar en distintos puntos de la localidad, donde los corredores intentarán ser los más veloces colina abajo.

La primer fecha del campeonato será el domingo de 10 a 13 horas. Los competidores partirán desde Av. Dos Venados y Av. de los Incas hasta Av. de los Incas y Madreselva.
