Merlo inaugura el periodo legislativo 2021 con novedades
La primer sesión ordinaria del año tuvo lugar hoy lunes al mediodía en el norte puntano. Destaca un importante aumento salarial para los empleados municipales.
Este 1° de marzo se dio la Apertura de Sesiones Legislativas. Una hora y media fue el tiempo transcurrido, durante el cual se anunciaron obras públicas y mejoras salariales.
Juan Álvarez Pinto, intendente local, proclamó una suba del 42% en el salario de los empleados municipales. El aumento será gradual, aunque anunció que ya desde febrero recibirán una suba inicial del 15%. La noticia era esperada por los trabajadores, quienes habían iniciado reclamas por medio de ATE la semana pasada.
Por otro lado, el máximo dirigente merlino se alegró de anunciar que el 2021 tendrá como protagonista a la obra pública. Desde el municipio planean construir dos plazas saludables y varías plazas blandas en los barrios locales. Además, se anunciaron mejoras en la Plaza Leopoldo Lugones de Piedra Blanca: la obra costará $1.200.000 y demandará 90 días.
Otro anuncio destacado fue el asfaltado de Avenida del Deporte, entre Mundial 78 y Avenida Libertador San Martín. La obra permitirá una mejor circulación entre Avenida Libertador San Martín y Avenida del Sol. Para eso construirán 6.000 metros cuadrados de adoquinado, 1.200 metros de cordón cuneta, bicisenda, y la construcción del badén sobre el Arroyo El Tigre, con una inversión de casi 37 millones de pesos.
Dichas obras durarán 180 días y trabajarán con perspectiva de género. El intendente sostuvo que dentro de los puestos de trabajo a generar, se prevé un 40% de ocupación femenina.
Por último, Álvarez Pinto anunció el pago de la expropiación de las Reservas Viejo Molino y Azud, situada en Piedra Blanca. En este sentido, manifestó: “Todo esto se da gracias al saneamiento de las cuentas municipales y la buena administración de los recursos”.
