Merlo conmemora el Día Internacional de las Mujeres con regalos para las trabajadoras municipales

Desde la intendencia, en conjunto con artesanos locales, prepararon un presente para cada una de las 220 empleadas del municipio.

Todos los 8 de marzo se conmemora el Día Internacional de las Mujeres. Sin embargo, la jornada no amerita festejos ni celebraciones: el Día de la Mujer es entendido como una jornada de lucha y reflexión.

Desde el municipio merlino decidieron entregar un pequeño presente para sus trabajadoras. La labor fue designada al Taller Hilos del Sol: un taller solidario y colaborativo que ayuda a la comunidad merlina desde la gestión municipal. Allí producen frazadas tejidas, ajuares para recién nacidos, banderas del la villa de Merlo, entre otros. Además, participan en conjunto con las diferentes áreas de la municipalidad.

El regalo se compuso de una vela con cera de soja, un mantel pintado, un porta cosméticos y un bombón. Los presentes fueron entregados por el Intendente Álvarez Pinto esta mañana.
