Patagonia en llamas: vuelven a partir bomberos y brigadistas puntanos

La delegación fue despedida en Terrazas del Portezuelo y emprendió rumbo hacia el sur argentino. Serán 18 los puntanos que presten servicios en la noble tarea.

Ayer miércoles pasado el mediodía, 18 puntanos emprendieron camino hacia nuestra Patagonia, azotada de nuevo por los incendios forestales. El equipo está formado por profesionales de San Luis Solidario, bomberos de la Policía, bomberos voluntarios y de Defensa Civil de la Municipalidad de San Luis.

En su despedida participaron la jefa de Gabinete, Natalia Zabala Chacur, el ministro de Seguridad, Luciano Anastasi, y el jefe de San Luis Solidario, Damián Gómez. La jefa de Gabinete expresó a ANSL: “Es un orgullo lo que hacen. Esto nos posiciona muy bien en el país, de forma humilde y solidaria. Se van muy lejos de la provincia y de sus familias. Les deseamos el mejor de los éxitos”.

Además, Zabala Chacur manifestó: «Cada uno de estos rescatistas que hoy parten, se llevan un poquito de nuestra fuerza y energía, porque lo que hacen es admirable”. Resaltó el coraje, valor y solidaridad de nuestros provincianos y les agradeció por la gesta.

La delegación estará compuesta por el equipo de Defensa Civil de la Provincia con la colaboración de la Municipalidad de San Luis, del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social y de los cuarteles de bomberos de toda la provincia.

Luciano Anastasi, Ministro de Seguridad comunicó a ANSL: “Nos han convocado porque están en una situación muy compleja. Estamos orgullosos de este equipo que viaja y con la esperanza de que los chicos puedan hacer su trabajo y vuelvan a casa”.

La magnitud del incendio, originado en los bosques, ya superó la capacidad de los bomberos locales. Asimismo, los focos en la zona de Mallín Cumé siguen expandiéndose: desde su inicio el domingo ya destruyó alrededor de 2.000 hectáreas.
