Sputnik Light: la nueva vacuna rusa de una dosis para países con menores ingresos

La Sputnik V seguirá siendo la “vacuna de bandera” de Rusia, pero esta versión en una sola dosis servirá para vender a los países con altas tasas de contagio y escasos recursos, para que puedan completar rápidamente la vacunación masiva de la población. Según las fuentes moscovitas, la efectividad de la vacuna es del 85% pero aún no se ha probado en adultos mayores.
El propio director de Gamaleya señaló que la seguridad de la vacuna está demostrada, pero aún resta realizar ensayos para su prueba en población de riesgo, y se espera que en breve se publiquen los resultados de los ensayos de fase 3. Para el presidente del Fondo de Inversiones Directas de Rusia (FIDR), Kiril Dmitriev, la Sputnik Light: “Puede convertirse en una solución provisional y eficaz para muchos países que se encuentran en el pico de la enfermedad y quieren salvar el mayor número de vidas posible”,
