El mismo violaba a su expareja y abusaba de su hija adolescente. Asimismo, los hijos del efectivo sufrían serios maltratos.

En algunas ocasiones, quienes deben cuidarnos son los más peligrosos puertas adentro: los casos de violencia y abusos protagonizados por miembros de la Policía son una triste constante en nuestro país. El cabo C.E.M, de 39 años, lastimaba continuamente a su familia, ejerciendo violencia hacia su expareja, su hija y sus hijos pequeños.

La madre de sus hijos fue sometida durante años a violaciones: si ella se negaba a tener relaciones le pegaba, le colocaba las esposas del trabajo, la obligaba en la intimidad a prácticas que le generaban, además del menoscabo psicológico, severos daños físicos. Lo que es más, una vez la mujer estaba cursando un embarazo avanzado cuando C.E.M la agredió para tener sexo. En consecuencia la mujer debió ser internada y corrió riesgo su embarazo. Con frases como «me voy a pegar un tiro si no me perdonas» el ciclo de violencia se repetía constantemente.

También fue víctima su hija menor, a quien C.E.M consideraba su «segunda novia». La adolescente confesó que fue abusada por su padre a sus 11/12 años «mediante tocamientos, persistentes manoseos, referirse a sus zonas impúdicas de manera lasciva y aprovechando cualquier oportunidad para desplegar dichos actos sexuales”. La madre de la joven fue quien vio señales de alerta y la instó a que comunique los abusos de su padre de forma escrita. La chica manifestó que su padre “Era como baboso” y se sentía muy incómoda. Para evitar ser buscada sexualmente de nuevo, la joven empezó a utilizar ropas amplias.

Por último, quienes también padecieron al efectivo policial fueron sus hijos. C.E.M mantuvo por años maltrato infantil. Los chicos narraron que el padre los trataba mal, obligándolos a limpiar y cocinar mientras él estaba acostado. Si a los niños se les caía un vaso con agua, les pegaba. Cuando la madre de los niños intervenía, ella era golpeada o insultada.

La denunciante contó que los niños eran sacados a empujones para ir a la escuela. Para ir a la escuela el abusador despertaba a los niños apoyándoles sus nalgas desnudas en la cara.

El dictamen de la Justicia

El acusado fue procesado por la Jueza Penal 3, Virginia Palacios. La misma determinó que C.E.M fuera encerrado en el Servicio Penitenciario Provincial.

El acusado fue detenido el martes 6 de abril, luego de que la Unidad Regional de Orden Público -UROP- allanara su domicilio. En el mismo buscaron evidencia de los maltratos, aunque se encontraron con la sorpresa de que C.E.M no llevaba celular. Posteriormente encontraron dos teléfonos destruidos y la Justicia presume que los haya averiado para ocultar información incriminatoria.

La Jueza Palacios procesó al policía bajo las siguientes figuras penales:

-“Abuso sexual con acceso carnal agravado por causar un grave daño a la salud y por el vínculo y lesiones agravadas por el vínculo y por mediar violencia de género, lo anterior en un contexto de infracción a la Ley de Violencia de Género”, cuya víctima fue su expareja y madre de sus hijos.

-“Abuso sexual gravemente ultrajante agravado por causar grave daño a la salud, por el vínculo y el aprovechamiento de la convivencia preexistente», dirigido hacia su hija de 13 años.

-“Lesiones agravadas por el vínculo en un contexto de maltrato infantil intrafamiliar”, por los hechos en los que resultan damnificados los tres hijos varones.

Las imposiciones culturales, el machismo y la misoginia contribuyen a crear padres/parejas/hombres violentos. Los daños físicos y psicológicos que sufren las víctimas de violencia son incalculables, y merman la calidad de vida permanentemente.
