El Intendente Álvarez Pinto habló luego de ser golpeado por un miembro de ATE
Los testimonios del ejecutivo fueron recolectados luego de efectuar una denuncia en la Comisaría N° 26 de Merlo. Otras organizaciones se solidarizaron con el municipio.
Los repudiables sucesos del día de ayer siguen cosechando opiniones. En esta ocasión, fue el mismo Intendente de Merlo quien se expresó sobre lo sucedido.
Ayer por la mañana un miembro de ATE irrumpió de forma violenta en la entrada de la Municipalidad de la Villa de Merlo. Al darse cuenta, Álvarez Pinto intentó bajar para cerrar la puerta. Sin embargo, fue golpeado y arrojado al piso por el agresor.
Las protestas del gremio hacia el municipio datan desde marzo. Sin embargo, ayer el Intendente estaba reunido con dos empleados sindicalizados. Los mismos habían sido suspendidos por incumplimiento de tareas. En referencia a ellos, Juan Álvarez Pinto manifestó: «Hay dos personas que no trabajan, se las ve recorriendo Merlo en sus autos particulares dentro del horario de trabajo».
En relación a los empleados en cuestión declaró: «Si la situación se mantiene habrá que avanzar con el juicio de desafuero y sacar el amparo sindical, para someter a estos empleados a sumario». Afirmó que si la Justicia determina que los empleados deben ser cesanteados, serán removidos de sus cargos.
Álvarez Pinto se mostró enfadado con el gremio, a quien acuso de tergiversar la situación. Asimismo, confesó que habían acordado una reunión con ATE la semana próxima para escuchar sus reclamos. Además, sostuvo que no tiene problemas con otros delegados gremiales, más allá de las diferencias.
Muestras de solidaridad
Fueron varios quienes apoyaron al Intendente y su equipo ante lo sucedido. Uno de ellos fue el bloque de Concejales San Luis Unido. Apuntaron contra ATE, a quienes le pidieron que desistan de usar formas violentas en el futuro. En adición, exclamaron que esta modalidad de reclamos es inpropia de la identidad merlina.
Quienes también apoyaron al equipo municipal fueron los miembros de la Asociación Empresaria Hotelera y Gastronómica de Villa de Merlo. Calificaron de «salvaje» el ataque y pidieron que se haga justicia.
