Merlo fue epicentro de un megaoperativo policial
Los uniformados patrullaron las calles de la villa. Aún no trascendieron los resultados del procedimiento, y algunos merlinos se mostraron molestos por el trato policial.
Ayer viernes la Villa de Merlo albergó un nuevo operativo de seguridad. Allí asistió el Ministro de Seguridad puntano, quien desestimó los reclamos de seguridad elevados desde la intendencia local y encubrió la violencia institucional vivida hace días.
Según la fuerza, los objetivos principales del procedimiento eran la identificación de personas, la detención en caso de que exista pedido de captura y el secuestro de vehículos. La jornada arrancó pasadas las 10 luego de que el Jefe de Policía, Darío Neira, hiciera la arenga a sus subordinados.
El malestar del vecino
“El trabajo de la Policía de San Luis en la calle, con la gente, cuidando a todos los puntanos, es una característica de esta gestión”, afirmó Neira. Sin embargo, estos dichos no se condicen con los testimonios de los merlinos, molestos por el trato policial.
Algunos vecinos denunciaron haber sido obligados por la fuerza a colaborar como testigos. Un joven denunció la actitud prepotente de un policía, que tras rehusarse a ser testigo fue requisado de mala manera.
A diferencia de los operativos previos, la Policía aún no comunicó los resultados. Se desconoce la efectividad del procedimiento y las cifras de detenidos, secuestros vehiculares, entre otras variables.
