Concejales merlinos elevaron un proyecto de reactivación económica
Se trata de los integrantes del Bloque San Luis Unido. La petición busca la aplicación de medidas que mitiguen el malestar económico de los comerciantes no esenciales.
En Villa de Merlo continúan emergiendo medidas para aliviar la economía de los más castigados por la pandemia. Hace semanas, el ejecutivo merlino lanzó un decreto que eximía a contribuyentes de la villa del pago de algunas tasas municipales. Así, los comerciantes no esenciales de Merlo obtuvieron una reducción del 50% en la Tasa Básica de Seguridad e Higiene, y un descuento del 100% en la Tasa de Asignación a Fondos Específicos.
En esta línea, desde el bloque San Luis Unido elevaron un proyecto de nota para ser tratado en el legislativo provincial. El escrito fue entregado a la presidenta del Concejo Deliberante local, Ana María Nicoletti y fue impulsado por los concejales Leonardo Rodríguez, Marcela Grendene, Patricia Morandé, Matías Herrera y Ana Orlando.
El proyecto tiene en cuenta las adversidades que debieron enfrentar quienes cayeron en la categoría de la no esencialidad en la pandemia.
Según apuntan desde San Luis Unido, las medidas anunciadas golpearon a trabajadores de toda la provincia. Asimismo, consideran que las iniciativas para morigerar esta situación partieron sobre todo desde el ámbito municipal, no así desde la provincia.
En la nota, solicitan al Gobierno provincial la aplicación de medidas tendientes a reactivar la economía provincial.
El contexto
Los impulsores de la iniciativa explican que las medidas y las restricciones que pesaron sobre Merlo y la provincia han generado el cierre de diversos comercios, que no pudieron trabajar ni cumplir con sus obligaciones contractuales e impositivas.
Los concejales consideran que si bien las flexibilizaciones de la temporada veraniega fueron beneficiosas, los ingresos generados en ese periodo fueron destinados principalmente al saldo de deudas generadas en 2020.
Además, desde San Luis Unido sostienen que las ayudas económicas del municipio, aunque valiosas, son insuficientes. El problema para quienes están en situación económica vulnerable son las tasas impositivas provinciales, considerablemente más elevadas que las contribuciones municipales.
El proyecto
La propuesta de los concejales merlinos persigue la colaboración del gobierno provincial para generar una reactivación económica. El objetivo es que desde Terrazas del Portezuelo asignen parte de los ingresos generados en materia de impuestos para dar una mano a los comerciantes provinciales.
En este sentido, el proyecto tiene tres pilares:
- La creación de un Fondo de Ayuda Económica no reintegrable, por un tiempo delimitado y destinado a comerciantes no esenciales.
- La convocatoria a una mesa de trabajo con diferentes sectores de la actividad económica, para revisar la aplicación de medidas y el impacto de las ya establecidas en los comerciantes.
- Un análisis de reducción de impuestos, para que las imposibilidades de pago del sector no se traduzcan en deudas futuras.
