«Música del Mundo»: dos artistas merlinos lanzaron su nuevo material
Se trata de Iván Gazzo y Andrés Meza, ambos oriundos de Merlo. Ya subieron su primer audiovisual.
Un homenaje a la música universal. Así definieron Iván Gazzo y Andrés Meza a su nuevo proyecto «Música del Mundo». Es la primera vez que ambos se reúnen, en un proyecto que conjuga jazz, blues, boleros, tangos, sambas y rock.
Iván Gazzo ya es un conocido de la música provincial. Su arte trasciende los soportes: además de cantar en su banda «Vía Web», Iván es director audiovisual y escritor galardonado.
La otra mitad del dúo la conforma Andrés Meza: es diseñador gráfico, músico y compositor. Se dedica a la música instrumental y domina guitarras criollas, eléctricas, teclados y batería. Su último trabajo es «Música para viajar» y fue lanzando en plena cuarentena.
«Música del Mundo» contará con Gazzo en voz y armónica, mientras que Meza se ocupará de las guitarras. En diálogo con la cartera de Cultura, el escritor explicó: “Le estamos dedicando mucho tiempo a las grabaciones. Vamos a ir subiendo un audiovisual por semana, son varios videos que tienen un estilo en blanco y negro y nos estamos preparando para las presentaciones en vivo”.
Lo que caracteriza al flamante proyecto es la diversidad de estilos. “Este material contiene música del mundo. La idea es incluir grandes canciones que nos acompañan siempre. Desde clásicos de Gustavo Cerati, Mercedes Sosa, Gardel, Buena Vista Social Club, hasta Gary Moore, Scorpions y Frank Sinatra”, detalló Gazzo.
