Mano Solidaria: crean un grupo de vecinos para ayudar a pacientes de Coronavirus en Carpintería

La iniciativa provino de algunos vecinos de Carpintería y cuenta con un equipo de profesionales médicos.

Un grupo de vecinos en Carpintería decidió organizarse con un plan muy particular: ayudar a residentes que estén atravesando Covid-19 y no cuenten con familiares al momento de aislarse. La iniciativa busca fomentar el apoyo y la asistencia entre los habitantes del pueblo, para atravesar de mejor manera el contagio del virus.

Uno de los impulsores fue Rubén Di Benedetto Linneo, una cara conocida de la zona. En diálogo con San Luis 24, Di Benedetto afirmó que el grupo lleva más de 4 meses activo: en total asistieron a más de 60 familias locales. Asimismo, explicó que la propuesta tuvo buenos resultados porque son muchos los residentes que no cuentan con familia y la asistencia de alimentos y medicinas es un problema en esos casos.

El grupo cuenta con una psicóloga y dos médicos clínicos, que prestan sus servicios para asistir a los contagiados. También reciben apoyo de la Municipalidad de Carpintería:  “La Municipalidad los asiste lunes, miércoles y viernes, y nosotros asistimos martes, jueves y sábados, teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de cada familia”, sostuvo Di Benedetto.

Los esfuerzos vecinales están organizados por dos grupos de WhatsApp: uno se encarga de las donaciones y el otro se contacta con los contagiados. Aunque en la actualidad atienden a 7 familias locales, el impulsor de la propuesta remarcó que han tenido que trabajar hasta con 35 familias de la zona.
