Exenciones: los monotributistas ya no pagarán el impuesto al cheque

La instrumentación de la medida se efectivizó hoy en la resolución 5031/2021 y la circular 3/2021.

La medida aplicará a todas las cuentas corrientes a nombre de pequeños contribuyentes.

Este lunes la Administración Federal de Ingresos Públicos -AFIP- instrumentó la exención del impuesto al cheque: con la medida el impuesto deja de correr en los débitos y créditos de los pequeños contribuyentes que utilicen cuenta corriente. La alícuota del 0,25% dejará de aplicarse forma automática en todas las cuentas corrientes cuyos titulares sean pequeños contribuyentes.

La medida persigue equilibrar el tratamiento impositivo que separa a las cuentas bancarias de las billeteras virtuales: estas últimas ya se encontraban exentas del pago de dicha alícuota. Asimismo, la normativa explica como pueden acceder al beneficio los pequeños contribuyentes que abran nuevas cuentas, así como los nuevos contribuyentes que abran este tipo de cuentas bancarias.

Con la implementación de este lunes, AFIP extendió la exención del impuesto al cheque a todos los monotributistas inscriptos en el Registro de Beneficios Fiscales, más precisamente quienes figuren en la lista del Impuesto sobre los Créditos y Débitos en Cuentas Bancarias y otras Operatorias.

Además, con el Decreto 301/2021 la AFIP facilitó la incorporación de algunos proveedores de servicios de pago. En este sentido, se extendió hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2021 el plazo para que las fintech se inscriban al Registro de Beneficios Fiscales: el objetivo es garantizar la inclusión de todos los proveedores de servicios de pago y sus usuarios en los beneficios impositivos.
