Un hombre falleció en el sur provincial tras estrellar su auto contra una camioneta
El accidente ocurrió en la Ruta 188, a unos 45 km de Nueva Galia. De los cinco heridos, dos están graves.
Las rutas de la provincia registraron un nuevo incidente fatal: en esta caso de trató de un choque frontal en la Ruta 188, al este de Nueva Galia. Los vehículos involucrados fueron un Chevrolet Corsa y una Suzuki Vitara. El choque dejó una persona fallecida y cuatro heridos, que fueron trasladados al Policlínico Juan Domingo Perón.
El fallecido fue identificado como Juan Roberto Stina: iba a bordo del Chevrolet Corsa que perdió parte del techo tras el impacto. Según Claudio Quiroga, jefe de la Comisaría 20° de Nueva Galia el hombre se dirigía desde Buenos Aires hacia San Rafael. Stina falleció en el acto, aunque su pareja Angélica Noemí Paraldo fue herida de gravedad, por lo que fue trasladada a Villa Mercedes con un politraumatismo severo de cráneo. El estado de la mujer es crítico, ya que se encuentra en terapia intensiva.
Para los efectivos el choque se produjo entre las 9:00 y las 10:00: uno de los protagonistas logró dar aviso mediante un llamado telefónico. Cuando los efectivos de la Comisaría 20° llegaron al lugar ya se encontraban allí dotaciones de personal médico y bomberos de Unión, localidad más cercana.
A bordo del Suzuki iba Nancy Adriana Etchichury, de 42 años, junto a sus dos hijos: esta mujer también sufrió un politraumatismo y está bajo atención en el mismo nosocomio. Afortunadamente sus hijos, de 17 y 22 años, sufrieron traumatismos leves y ya recibieron el alta.
La División Criminalística se acercó a examinar la escena para estudiar por qué uno de los vehículos cruzó de carril: ambos fueron hallados del mismo lado de la banquina. La carpeta asfáltica se encontraba en buen estado y las condiciones climáticas eran normales.
