Grooming: un adolescente puntano fue víctima de un acosador de Santa Cruz

Cinco miembros de la Dirección General de Protección Ejecutiva viajaron hasta Santa Cruz para allanar el domicilio de un hombre de unos 60 años, acusado de abusar virtualmente de un joven puntano de 15 años. Juan Carlos Romero, uno de los agentes que participó del procedimiento, afirmó que la orden vino del Juez Penal 1, Juan Manuel Montiveros Chada.

En allanamiento ocurrió ayer a la noche: el resultado fue positivo, ya que pudieron secuestrar elementos de interés para la causa como notebooks y tarjetas de memoria.

En relación a la denuncia, que tuvo como víctima un adolescente de 15 años, Romero detalló: “La denuncia fue hecha por el papá de la víctima hace aproximadamente dos semanas en la oficina de la Dirección General de Protección Ejecutiva. Con base en ella se comenzó la investigación que arrojó como dato de interés que el ‘groomer’ estaría domiciliado en Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz”

¿Qué es el grooming?

Es una modalidad de acoso sexual que fue ganando protagonismo en los últimos años, gracias a lo avances tecnológicos. Es realizada por un «groomer»: son ciberacosadores mayores de edad, que engañan a menores mediante nuevas tecnologías -chats online, redes y foros- para abusar sexualmente de sus víctimas.

Aparentemente, el abusador se contactó con el joven a través de un chat online, aunque luego la conversación continuó en un chat de WhatsApp, donde el acusado envió material pornográfico infantil, junto con material propio de connotación sexual.
