Coronavirus: el martes comienza la vacunación a menores en Argentina
Vacunarán a personas entre 12 y 17 años, que atraviesen patologías de riesgo. Alrededor del 20% de este grupo etario tiene alguna condición de salud priorizada, y podrá acceder a la vacunación.
Lo anunció Silvia Sosa Araujo, ministra de Salud provincial, aunque será en todo el país: mañana comienzan a usar Moderna para inocular contra el Coronavirus a menores de edad. La vacunación a personas entre 12 y 17 años se barajaba desde finales de julio en el país, cuando se aprobó el uso pediátrico de la vacuna estadounidense. A mediados de julio Argentina recibió una donación de 3.5 millones de unidades de esta vacuna, y será la designada para extender el Plan de Vacunación contra el Coronavirus.
Las inscripciones para este grupo abrieron el miércoles: según el Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología los inscriptos hasta ayer domingo eran 20.297. Todos los anotados son menores de edad portadores de patologías de riesgo, que fueron definidas en la última reunión del Consejo Federal de Salud.
En este sentido, Sosa Araujo explicó: “Habilitamos el registro con varios días de anterioridad a los fines de identificar con tiempo, en base a las situaciones de salud priorizadas, a los menores que recibirán la vacuna en esta primera etapa y realizar las notificaciones”.
La provincia recibió 10.080 dosis de Moderna, que ya tiene la aprobación definitiva de la ANMAT para ser usada en caso de emergencia. Las condiciones de salud que recibieron el consenso de las carteras sanitarias de todo el país son las siguientes:
- Diabetes tipo 1 o 2.
- Obesidad grado 2 (IMC > 35) y grado 3 (IMC > 40).
- Enfermedad cardiovascular crónica: Insuficiencia cardíaca, enfermedad coronaria, valvulopatías, miocardiopatías, hipertensión pulmonar o cardiopatías congénitas.
- Enfermedad renal crónica (incluidos pacientes en diálisis crónica y trasplantes) y síndrome nefrótico.
- Enfermedad respiratoria crónica: Enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica (EPOC), fibrosis quística, enfermedad intersticial pulmonar, asma grave; requerimiento de oxígeno terapia; enfermedad grave de la vía aérea; hospitalizaciones por asma.
- Enfermedad hepática: Cirrosis, hepatitis autoinmune.
- Personas que viven con VIH independientemente del CD4 y CV.
- Pacientes en lista de espera para trasplantes de órganos sólidos y trasplantes de células hematopoyéticas.
- Pacientes oncológicos y oncohematológicos con diagnóstico reciente o “activa”.
- Personas con tuberculosis activa.
- Personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo.
- Síndrome de Down.
- Personas con enfermedades autoinmunes y/o tratamientos inmunosupresores, inmunomoduladores o biológicos.
- Adolescentes que viven en lugares de larga estancia.
- Personas gestantes de 12 a 17 años con indicación individual.
- Personas con Certificado Único de Discapacidad (CUD) vigente.
- Personas con pensión de ANSES por invalidez aunque no tengan CUD.
- Personas con pensión de ANSES por trasplantes aunque no tengan CUD.
