Tilisarao marchó para pedir justicia por el femicidio de Laura Godoy

La manifestación fue ayer domingo por la tarde. Además del pedido de justicia, la marcha buscó concientizar y visibilizar que hacer en casos de violencia machista para evitar nuevas muertes.

Ayer Tilisarao no vivió un domingo típico: la tranquilidad con la que suelen transcurrir los fines de semana fue reemplazada por un clima de justa protesta. Protesta de la que participaron familiares, vecinas, amigas y profesoras de Laura Godoy, la mujer de 32 años que murió el lunes pasado a manos de Cristian «Toty» Alaniz.

En el encuentro también participaron mujeres autoconvocadas e integrantes de la Red Contra la Violencia del Valle del Conlara. Las manifestantes se reunieron en la plaza central para elevar un pedido de justicia ante el atroz episodio. Así, las tranquilas calles tilisaraoenses fueron ocupadas por los vecinos, que exigen una investigación con perspectiva de género.

Mónica Olgiati, miembro de la Red contra la Violencia, explicó que la jornada no solo persiguió un pedido de justicia: también quisieron concientizar y visibilizar que hacer en estos casos, para evitar nuevos femicidios y episodios de violencia machista.

Mientras algunas mujeres realizaban carteles y pintadas, otro grupo se dedicó a brindar una charla a los niños y niñas que asistieron. Una de las participantes fue la hija de Laura, de solo 10 años. “La idea es poder acompañar a la familia, que se sienta fortalecida ante lo que ha sucedido y con todo este proceso judicial que está por delante”, añadió Olgiati.

De esta manera, mientras los niños aprendían el resto de las manifestantes marchó y encendió velas por la memoria de Laura y la de todas las mujeres víctimas de la violencia de género.
