Villa Mercedes: prisión para el profesor de básquet acusado de abuso sexual
Víctor Hugo Figueroa fue acusado de abuso sexual gravemente ultrajante reiterado. Fue procesado por el juez Antonio Cuello, quien ordenó su traslado al penal provincial.
Todo Villa Mercedes quedó conmocionado cuando se enteró, a comienzos de marzo, que Víctor Hugo Figueroa había abusado sexualmente de una niña. La denuncia se radicó el 8 de marzo, luego de que la niña revelara que Figueroa había abusado de ella en las instalaciones del Club Sociedad Italiana, donde el acusado daba clases de básquet.
José Martínez, padre de la niña, manifestó: “Hoy amanecimos con una buena noticia, con la noticia que esperábamos desde aquel 8 de marzo”. Esta mañana el juez Alfredo Cuello proceso al profesor por abuso sexual gravemente ultrajante reiterado. Tras la acusación, ordenó su traslado al penal provincial pasado el mediodía.
El padre de la niña opinó: “Acá hay una Cámara Gesell que dio positivo al sexto día de la denuncia. El 8 de marzo fue la denuncia y el 14 ya estaba la pericia. A partir de ahí, desde la simple lógica y con el no entender las leyes, esperamos. Si la cámara dio positivo obvio que el abuso está confirmado y que el delito está confirmado, simple lógica”.
Figueroa fue detenido este martes cerca de las 9, bajo custodia de la División Homicidios. Horas más tarde se concretó su acusación, según informó el comisario general Oscar Contrera, jefe de la Unidad Regional II. Figueroa residía en casa de su madre, a dos cuadras de la sede de la mencionada división: eso facilitaba las tareas de vigilancia, con efectivos vestidos de civil.
Nuevas acusaciones
El padre de la niña informó que la pequeña está bajo tratamiento psicológico: la ayuda terapéutica le permitió revelar cosas que se había guardado. Sin embargo, explicó que va a “contar cosas más graves que las que había contado”: esperan que la niña amplíe su declaración en Cámara Gesell.
“Ahora nos queda esperar por el juicio y esperamos que le caigan muchísimos años”, sentenció Martínez.
