Caso Marilyn Cejas: reabrieron la causa y Celi ratificó su inocencia

La causa se inició en 2012, aunque las inconsistencias en la defensa del policía permitieron a la familia de la mujer asesinada desarchivarla. La defensa solicitó 48 horas para analizar el expediente.

Este viernes Roberto Celi, ex policía puntano, volvió a declarar en la causa que lo indaga por el femicidio de quien era su pareja, Marilyn Cejas. La causa data de 2012, cuando acusaron a Celi de asesinarla en su departamento de Calle Guemes, en la ciudad de San Luis.

Sandra López, abogada defensora, pidió secreto de sumario y expresó: “Hizo uso de su derecho de declaración, determinó como habían sucedido los hechos. Él ratificó su inocencia”. Por su parte Marta, madre de Marilyn, estuvo presente en la audiencia y acusó al ex policía de «seguir sosteniendo la misma mentira». Asimismo, la mujer contó que notó nervioso a quien fuera pareja de su hija.

En un comienzo la Policía informó que se trató de un suicidio, efectuado con el arma reglamentaria de Celi. Sin embargo, la querella no creyó en esa versión y aseguró que existían incongruencias en los testimonios, en el análisis de los llamados, incluso en la desaparición de algunos elementos vitales para la causa: se llevaron el colchón donde encontraron muerta a Marilyn. Finalmente, lograron desarchivar la causa y llevar a Celi a audiencia nuevamente.

Aunque en estos casos suele acostumbrarse la detención del acusado, Celi no fue privado de su libertad. Cuando la causa fue tratada no se había incorporado la figura de Femicidio: actualmente está acusado del delito «homicidio agravado», aunque podría haber un cambio de carátula y criterios judiciales.
