Ayer lunes se conoció uno de los pedidos que elevaron al Concejo Deliberante merlino: solicitan que la villa se adhiera a la Ley de Turismo Inclusivo. El pedido provino de la Coordinadora del Observatorio de Discapacidad de la Villa de Merlo, Silvia de Piero.

En diálogo con El Corredor Noticias, de Piero explicó que de adherirse, «se eliminarían las barreras existentes que tienen todas las personas con discapacidad para llegar a la villa». La solicitud ya fue elevada al concejo y será tratada en comisión.

La normativa establece la inclusión de todas las personas con discapacidad en las actividades recreativas, turísticas y culturales. La Ley de Turismo Inclusivo está orientada a brindar una mayor calidad en las prestaciones de servicios que se brindan a los visitantes.

Además, de Piero remarcó que la mencionada adhesión permitiría al municipio cumplir con la Convención de los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad. La Coordinadora del Observatorio confía en que esta vez saldrá la ordenanza.  «Para mí sería un orgullo tener una Villa de Merlo inclusiva», cerró de Piero.
