El Gobierno extendió el cepo a la exportación de carne dos meses más
Las trabas vencían este 31 de agosto, aunque desde Casa Rosada extendieron la medida pese al rechazo del sector agropecuario. Hoy habrá reunión de la Mesa de Enlace para analizar medidas de fuerza.
Este martes vencía la Resolución Conjunta de los Ministerios de Desarrollo Productivo y de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca, en la que se decretaba la suspensión total o parcial de las exportaciones de ciertos cortes de carne bovina para fortalecer el mercado interno. Cuando la medida se anunció el 22 de julio, el rechazo del sector agropecuario fue inmediato. Sin embargo, las autoridades tienen facultad para extender dicho decreto hasta fin de año, “en función de las variaciones de los precios, la producción nacional y/o el abastecimiento del mercado interno”.
Según el decreto publicado en el Boletín Oficial, el volumen de exportaciones no podía superar el 50% del registrado en el periodo julio-diciembre de 2020. La Sociedad Rural Argentina se pronunció al respecto, ya que las medidas de este tipo se remontan al 14 de abril: en 135 días el sector perdió U$D 1.084 millones. El campo pierde U$D 8 millones por día.
El informe publicado por la tradicional entidad señala que el monto más grande recayó sobre los productores: perdieron U$D 411 millones. Los frigoríficos perdieron unos U$D 165 millones, mientras que los operarios también recibieron una merma de U$D 59 millones en sus remuneraciones.
Desde el Gobierno consideran que la medida logró el impacto deseado: reducir la dinámica de precios. «En materia de precios el impacto de las medidas que limitaron la venta al exterior de manera temporal ha comenzado a mostrar resultados positivos. Tras dos meses de vigencia, los precios se estabilizaron e incluso mostraron cierta retracción en distintos eslabones de la cadena”, explica el comunicado publicado en el Boletín Oficial.
Aunque saben que a largo plazo la única solución posible es aumentar la producción y ser más competitivos, desde la Casa Rosada consideran que la única medida a corto plazo para limitar la escala de precios recaía sobre las exportaciones.

La Mesa de Enlace de Entidades Agropecuarias se reunirá esta tarde en Santa Fe para analizar como seguir, aunque se mantienen firmes en exigir la reapertura total de la comercialización de carnes en el mercado internacional. La protesta es una de las salidas posibles, y desde el sector analizan modalidades y fechas: podría ser antes o después de las PASO del 12 de septiembre.
