COFESA: las ministras Vizzotti y Sosa Araujo cerraron con una conferencia de prensa
Las encargadas de la cartera sanitaria nacional y provincial dieron cierre a la última reunión del Consejo Federal de Salud, celebrado en la provincia de San Luis. Fueron optimistas de cara a las aperturas y flexibilizaciones, aunque recordaron la importancia de mantener los cuidados y protocolos.
La última reunión del Consejo Federal de Salud cerró ayer martes, cuando Carla Vizzotti y Silvia Sosa Araujo prestaron su palabra frente a los micrófonos de Terrazas del Portezuelo. Las ministras fueron consultadas sobre el cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos en materia de vacunación, el avance de la variante Delta, la combinación de vacunas y las aperturas y flexibilizaciones, entre otros temas.
A Silvia Sosa Araujo, de destacada labor en la pandemia, le consultaron como avisoraba la próxima temporada, en función de la disminución de casos. La ministra fue optimista en este sentido, y manifestó: «Todo lo que se ha logrado fue gracias al cumplimiento de los protocolos que hemos trabajado en la provincia de San Luis». Informó que seguirán las aperturas y flexibilizaciones, siempre que se respeten las medidas de cuidado personal y comunitario. «Confiamos en que la gente va a seguir acompañándonos y tendremos una excelente temporada si seguimos comportándonos», expresó la ministra de Salud provincial.
Por su parte, Vizzotti se refirió al cumplimiento de los objetivos propuestos en vacunación para agosto, que incluían la vacunación con dos dosis a todos quienes presenten patologías de riesgo. La ministra de Salud nacional detalló que en julio solamente el 27% de las vacunas eran segundas dosis. En agosto ese porcentaje viró a un 73%. «El predominio de las segundas dosis en la vacunación este mes ha sido un logro grande», afirmó. Desde la cartera sanitaria se habían propuesto tener al 60% de los mayores de 50 años con dos dosis para agosto. Sin embargo, superaron ese objetivo y hoy el 70% de ese grupo está vacunado.
Vizzotti remarcó que el objetivo de la vacunación es reducir el número de hospitalizaciones, para que el sistema sanitario no vuelva a tensionarse de producirse un aumento de casos. También recordó que van 14 semanas consecutivas de descenso de casos en el país, y 12 semanas con descenso en las internaciones. Gracias a las mejorías en la situación epidemiológica, informaron que el 9 de septiembre comienzan los pilotos para la vuelta de eventos masivos en el país.
Variante Delta
En relación a la variante Delta, la ministra nacional confirmó que hay circulación comunitaria en algunas jurisdicciones pero en ninguna es predominante. «Es muy importante poner en valor el logro de Argentina de haber diferido la circulación predominante de la variante Delta, gracias a medidas que fueron oportunas y que requirieron el esfuerzo de muchos ministerios nacionales como el de Seguridad y el del Interior, además de las 24 jurisdicciones», sostuvo Vizzotti.
Combinación de vacunas
Las ministras fueron consultadas sobre los anticuerpos generados por la combinación de vacunas de diferentes laboratorios. Explicaron que los estudios de intercambiabilidad de vacunas se realizan en 7 zonas del país, entre las que se incluye la provincia. «Los resultados preliminares mostraron que la combinación es segura y también inmunogénica». Además, resaltaron la gran adherencia y colaboración de la población.
«No pensemos que de un día para el otro se va a terminar la pandemia. El virus vino para quedarse, y puede seguir mutando. Mientras no se vacune en todos los países del mundo a la población con más riesgo la posibilidad de que surja otra variante está de forma permanente», cerró la ministra Vizzotti.
