Villa Mercedes: la Policía desbarató una organización dedicada al narcotráfico

Lograron detener a la banda tras más de dos años de investigaciones y 16 allanamientos. La mayoría de los imputados tiene antecedentes penales.

La División Lucha Contra el Narcotráfico, perteneciente a la UROP II de la provincia, logró desbaratar una organización dedicada al narcotráfico. Ocurrió en Villa Mercedes por orden del Juzgado Federal mercedino: requirieron más de 2 años de investigación y 16 allanamientos. La Policía ya detuvo a 11 personas por la causa: todos los implicados son mayores de edad -tienen entre 20 y 50 años- y son todos de Villa Mercedes a excepción de un integrante, oriundo de Río Cuarto.

La investigación reveló que la mayoría poseía antecedentes penales. Para dar con ellos allanaron viviendas en los barrios Eva Perón, Pimpollo, 70 Viviendas, Las Rosas y en las calles Teodoro Fels, Olagaray, Montevideo, Francia y Profesor Hamman. La banda funcionaba con domicilios dedicados a la venta de estupefacientes, un grupo de proveedores y una persona encargada de coordinar el transporte de las drogas desde Córdoba a Villa Mercedes.

La Policía secuestró cocaína y marihuana, por un valor aproximado de 5 millones de pesos. Además, hallaron armas, cheques, dinero en efectivo, celulares, entre otros elementos.
