Histórico: San Luis terminó el Campeonato Argentino de Ciclismo en Pista en lo más alto
Con 14 medallas, fue la mejor actuación registrada por la provincia. La gran figura fue el mundialista Tomás Moyano, que se quedó con 3 de las 4 medallas doradas.
La última edición del Campeonato Argentino de Ciclismo en Pista, celebrada en Córdoba, quedará en el recuerdo de una brillante generación de corredores puntanos, que recién empieza a agarrar vuelo. Los jóvenes purasangre compitieron durante 3 días en la provincia mediterránea con resultados destacables: cosecharon 14 medallas y dejaron a San Luis en lo más alto del podio por primera vez en la historia de la competición.
La gran figura fue el mundialista juvenil Tomás Moyano, quien ganó 3 de los 4 oros que volvieron a suelo puntano. Ayer domingo fue el último día de la competición: el primer oro dominical llegó en la prueba de velocidad por equipos. El trío provincial estuvo compuesto por Tomás Moyano, Lautaro Bazán y Nicolás Fernández, que ganaron la prueba a base de un pedaleo parejo y consistente.
Minutos más tarde Bernardo Cambareri, de solo 16 años, mostró su talento y se quedó con la prueba de vueltas puntuables. Le siguieron el chubutense Fabricio Crozzolo, al que aventajó por cinco puntos. El bronce fue para el riojano Alejo Ruiz Farelo, que totalizó 25 unidades y por tan solo una le ganó el bronce al juninense Franco Novgorosky.
La última medalla del domingo fue para el «Chino» Lautaro Bazan González, que obtuvo el bronce en la especialidad keirin. Desde la delegación consideraron «altamente positivo» el balance para la nueva generación de corredores provinciales y opinaron que las medallas deberán servir como una inyección de ánimo para un futuro francamente esperanzador.

Rocio Ozán, plata en Persecución Individual, en Damas Junior.- Nicolle Costarelli, plata en Velocidad, en Damas 2005/2006.
Paloma Alturria, bronce en Velocidad, en Damas 2005/2006.- Marianela Lopez Vergara, plata en Velocidad de categoría Damas Junior.
- Marcos Juárez, bronce en 200 metros lanzados, en la categoría Varones Junior.
SÁBADO
- Tomás Moyano, oro en Vueltas Puntuables junior.
- Valentin Busso, plata en Vueltas Puntuables 2008.
- Ismael Vásquez, plata en 500 metros partida detenida 2006.
- Marianela López, bronce en 500 metros partida detenida junior.
DOMINGO
- Bernardo Cambareri, oro en vueltas puntuables 2005.
- Tomas Moyano, Nicolás Fernández y Lautaro Bazan, oro en velocidad por equipos junior.
- Rocio Ozán, oro en velocidad por equipos junior junto a Eliana Tocha.
- Lautaro Bazan, bronce en Keirin junior.
