Justo Daract se prepara para la «Mateada de Integración»

El evento realizado desde 2013 tendrá una nueva edición este sábado a las 15:00 en Plaza Pringles. Los voluntarios preparan una merienda, música y show de bandas de forma gratuita.

Los orígenes de la «Mateada de Integración» se remontan ocho años atrás, cuando un grupo de voluntarios de Justo Daract decidió que los niños y niñas con discapacidades merecían pasar una jornada especial al aire libre. Merienda, música y show de bandas son parte de las actividades que podrán disfrutar los pequeños este sábado a partir de las 15:00 en Plaza Pringles.

María Azcurra, una de las voluntarias, explicó a El Diario: “La idea nació en el 2013 y empezamos porque generalmente en la primera semana de octubre se celebra la educación especial y también es el mes de la inclusión, así que decidimos hacer encuentros para que todos los que se acerquen puedan jugar, ayudarse por igual, que no se inhiban y no tengan miedo de compartir”.

Azcurra contó que vienen preparando la jornada hace semanas. Las familias de los pequeños no dudaron en acompañar a los voluntarios en esta iniciativa, ya que sus hijos padecieron los resguardos que ocasionó la pandemia. Afortunadamente, consiguieron colaboración municipal: desde el ejecutivo convocaron a bandas musicales locales y de ciudades vecinas a participar.

“Apenas empezamos a difundirlo por las redes sociales muchísimos vecinos se contactaron para ver en qué podían ayudar, para donar galletitas, gaseosas y otras cosas que van a servir para compartir la tarde con una rica merienda al aire libre. Siempre tuvo muy buena repercusión y nos acompaña muchísima gente. Hay payasos, porque todo el que puede se disfraza para robar sonrisas, y ya me llamaron varios para animar”, remarcó la voluntaria.

El evento es sin fines de lucro y la única motivación es alegrar el día a estos pequeños. «Para nosotros es algo que nos llena el corazón y esperamos que se contagien de la magia que tienen los niños”, indicó Azcurra. Los juegos, sorpresas y actividades durarán hasta las 19:00, según indicaron desde la organización.
