Un hombre denunció violencia policial en Nueva Galia

Los malos tratos de dos policías de la Comisaría 20° fueron denunciados por un trabajador rural de la localidad. El damnificado contó que lo tuvieron sin ropa y sin dormir un día entero, en el que fue golpeado severamente.

Un trabajador rural de Nueva Galia llamado Mauricio Jesús Ortiz denunció los malos tratos que recibió el pasado 14 de octubre en la Comisaría 20° de dicha localidad. Según lo aportado por Ortiz, circulaba en su Ford F 100 con 5 postes de madera cuando fue detenido por dos efectivos de la fuerza. Contó que los policías le dieron trompadas y patadas, que lo desnudaron y lo mantuvieron en calzoncillos y sin dormir durante 24 horas. En ese tiempo no le permitieron a Ortiz dar aviso a un familiar o conocido de su detención.

La tarde de ese 14 de octubre Ortiz circulaba en su camioneta por la ruta 188 cuando fue interceptado por la policía. “Yo llevaba cinco postes, por mi trabajo, y me dijeron que pasara por la comisaría, porque no podía llevar los palos en la chata”. El hombre fue a la comisaría para recibir un acta, aunque se sorprendió cuando lo llevaron a un centro de salud para constatar que no tuviera lesiones. Luego de la revisión volvieron a la dependencia y comenzaron las palizas: las piñas y patadas le rompieron un tímpano, causando la pérdida parcial del oído del trabajador rural. Tres días después de la golpiza, el damnificado contó que le salió un líquido de su oído, y se dirigió al Policlínico de Villa Mercedes para descartar una fractura de cráneo.

Ortiz contó que durante las 24 horas que permaneció desnudo y sin dormir los efectivos lo amenazaban con golpearlo aún más. Aunque temía radicar la denuncia, su pareja lo alentó y finalmente se presentó el 24 de este mes en la Fiscalía N° 3 de Villa Mercedes.
