El brote en un colegio de Merlo ya alcanzó los 10 casos positivos de Coronavirus
Son 8 residentes de Merlo y dos vecinos de Carpintería. 4 muestras fueron analizadas y dieron positivos para la Variante Delta.
El Ministerio de Salud provincial informó que el brote epidemiológico desatado en el colegio técnico Arístides Bratti ya acumula 10 casos relacionados entre si: los pacientes son alumnos de la escuela y familiares. 7 de los contagiados son menores de edad, y las pruebas indicaron que se trataría de la variante Delta.
En total son 76 los contactos estrechos entre familiares de contagiados, docentes y otros alumnos. Mientras que todos los mayores ya fueron hisopados, los menores pudieron hacerlo de manera voluntaria si contaban con la autorización de sus tutores. Rosa Dávila, coordinadora ministerial, explicó que el 80% de los contagiados tienen domicilio en Merlo, donde personal de salud ya recorre las casas puerta por puerta. El objetivo de la cartera sanitaria es avanzar rápidamente con los testeos y evitar la propagación de la variante Delta en la villa.
En relación a la variante, Dávila sostuvo: “Esta variante reviste un nivel de contagiosidad más elevado que las variantes que ya circulaban en la provincia, por lo que pedimos a la comunidad mantener las medidas de autocuidado y testearse ante el menor síntoma. Los puestos de testeo nunca dejaron de estar operativos y hoy más que nunca necesitamos que concurran a ellos”.
