Salud: entró en vigencia el acuerdo entre provincia y PAMI
Desde hoy el servicio sanitario provincial funciona como prestador alternativo del Instituto Nacional de Servicios Sociales para Jubilados y Pensionados -PAMI-. Los afiliados solo deberán sacar turno en el centro de salud y presentarse con el documento.
Este viernes entró en vigencia el acuerdo entre la provincia y el Instituto Nacional de Servicios Sociales para Jubilados y Pensionados -PAMI-, que designa al sistema sanitario público de San Luis como prestador alternativo de la obra social. El anuncio corrió por parte del nuevo director provincial de PAMI, Santiago Saín, quien explicó que para atenderse en centros de salud provinciales los jubilados y pensionados no deberán realizar ningún trámite. Solamente deben sacar turno en el centro de salud y presentarse con su DNI.
La atención médica a jubilados fue uno de los temas que más resonaron en las reuniones del Consejo Económico y Social: es un sector que abarca al 20% de la población, con carencias en el servicio de salud que siempre se acentuaron en San Luis. Contento por el acuerdo, Saín manifestó: “Lo importante de todo esto es que ya está hecho, está el convenio firmado y ya se puede hacer la prestación. Los jubilados tienen que estar contentos porque van a dejar de sufrir la espera que hacen para el turno y va a haber una gran practicidad”.
Con el acuerdo, los jubilados y pensionados de la provincia podrán elegir donde atenderse: el sistema público provincial funcionará como un prestador más, sin repercutir en el sistema privado. La lista de beneficiarios alcanza a 50.000 jubilados de la provincia, distribuidos en 60 localidades.
“Estoy en continua emoción porque era un sueño. Es la primera vez en la Argentina que un jubilado pasa a presidir una delegación de PAMI, así que es un orgullo. He sufrido el padecimiento de nuestros adultos mayores, por eso estoy agradecido de que el Gobierno de San Luis en su política de Estado haya implementado este sistema para atender las necesidades del adulto mayor”, añadió Saín luego de ser designado esta semana.
