Incendios forestales: extinguieron focos en Toro Negro y Los Cajones

Tras combatir las llamas por la noche, algunos escuadrones hicieron la guardia de cenizas para evitar reinicios.

Bomberos de toda la provincia combatieron ayer una serie de incendios forestales en el norte de la provincia: por la noche extinguieron los focos del paraje Toro Negro y Los Cajones. Juana Alzaga, jefa del Programa San Luis Solidario, confirmó la extinción de los incendios, aunque afirmó que aún sigue activo el foco de Puerta Colorada, en el noreste puntano.

El trabajo de los brigadistas se enfrentó al viento y las altas temperaturas del miércoles. Ya realizaron la guardia de cenizas y alejaron las posibilidades de algún reinicio en la zona. Mientras tanto, los escuadrones mantienen vigilancia sobre el foco de Puerta Colorada, ya que sigue activo y la zona es de difícil acceso.

Distintas dotaciones de Bomberos se acercaron a combatir las llamas: hubo personal El Trapiche, Merlo, San Luis capital, La Punta, San Francisco, Los Manantiales y brigadistas de San Luis Solidario.
