NACIÓN LANZARÁ UN NUEVO PREVIAJE
El ministro de Turismo y Deportes, Matías Lammens, confirmó este miércoles el lanzamiento para los próximos días de una nueva edición del programa Previaje, con el objetivo de generar “un estímulo turístico para la temporada baja”.
El ministro de Turismo y Deportes, Matías Lammens, señaló que “este nuevo Previaje tiene algunas particularidades, que ya habíamos adelantado, como ser que es un estímulo para la baja temporada manteniendo la importancia del turismo para las economías regionales”.
“Está confirmado el lanzamiento del Previaje para los próximos días. Es verdad que tuvo demoras porque la idea era lanzarlo antes, pero la coyuntura y la situación económica del país hizo que tuviéramos que rever el programa en términos presupuestarios, aunque se va a lanzar como estaba previsto”, afirmó Lammens en la conferencia de prensa en Casa de Gobierno tras la reunión de gabinete que encabezó el presidente Alberto Fernández.
El ministro señaló que “este nuevo Previaje tiene algunas particularidades, que ya habíamos adelantado, como ser que es un estímulo para la baja temporada manteniendo la importancia del turismo para las economías regionales”.

En esa línea, Lammens destacó que el Previaje «ha sido una herramienta extraordinaria para mantener los buenos niveles de ocupación y ahora la actividad turística está encabezando la recuperación del empleo por cuarto mes consecutivo. Lo mismo sucede con la actividad económica, en la que la hotelería y la gastronomía encabezan la recuperación”.
Asimismo, remarcó que “el Previaje brinda la posibilidad de viajar a los argentinos y argentinas, pero además tiene un beneficio grande para el país en términos fiscales, ya que moviliza ahorro privado y el Estado nacional recupera 8,3 de cada 10 pesos que invierte”.
“Por eso, el impacto fiscal no es tan alto y además genera un montón de beneficios indirectos que tienen que ver no solamente con la generación de empleo sino también con la formalización laboral en un sector que siempre hubo mucha informalidad”, argumentó Lammens.
Días atrás, Lammens había adelantado que la tercera edición del Previaje “no solo incentivará la demanda, sino que también está pensado para seguir fortaleciendo este sector, que es estratégico y muy importante para el país. Tendrá una aplicación más quirúrgica, con una parte de desarrollo en infraestructura turística con una inversión pública y privada”.
En aquella oportunidad, el ministro resaltó que en los últimos dos años, el Gobierno “invirtió 35 millones de dólares mientras que desde el 2015 al 2019 solo se invirtieron 7 millones”.
