POSTERGARON NUEVAMENTE EL ANUNCIO DE LAS NUEVAS TARIFAS EN BASE A LA SEGMENTACIÓN
El esperado anuncio sobre las nuevas tarifas para la electricidad y el gas natural, basado en la segmentación y los topes al consumo, que estaba previsto para esta semana se demorará algunos días más. Así lo confirmó la nueva secretaría de Energía Flavia Royón.
“Estamos trabajando. Esta semana ha sido muy intensa. Se trata de ser muy claros con la gente porque tenemos la máxima de que esta actualización de tarifas, primero que sea por debajo el índice de variación salarial (CVS) y que sea solo para el nivel de alto poder adquisitivo. La tarifa social no va a sufrir una nueva actualización este año”, detalló.
“La energía es un bien que hay que cuidarlo. Estimamos que durante el fin de semana es que podemos concluir intensión es que sea muy claro para la gente. Es solo una porción de los usuarios la que va a sufrir la actualización y la decisión es que se cuide a la gente de menores recursos”, destacó.
Aún quedan varias dudas sobre cómo funcionará el nuevo esquema de tarifas, sobre todo los plazos para su aplicación. Las empresas distribuidoras aseguraron que aun no recibieron detalles de los cambios ni los listados de los usuarios a los que deberán facturar la tarifa plena, sin subsidios.
Por otro lado, también se adelantó que entre los más de 9 millones de hogares que pidieron mantener el subsidio al gas y la electricidad durante las últimas semanas, el Gobierno va a aplicar topes a la tarifa subsidiada, que serán distintos por regiones, donde se tendrán en cuenta las diferencias climáticas y el costo de distribución, así como también la estacionalidad.
Royón destacó que en contexto mundial donde se habla de restricciones y incrementos en los costos de la energía. la Argentina pudo llevar adelante un invierno sin cortes. “La realidad argentina ha sido muy distinta a la realidad mundial donde también los costos de la energía se han disparado; esto habla de la política de garantizar el abastecimiento energético para los argentinos y para la industria sino también de todas las posibilidades que tiene este sector de autoabastecerse y también de ser un complejo exportador”, señalo la secretaria.
También enumeró los anuncios para el sector que se realizaron durante este semana, entre ellos, la firma de los contratos par el comienzo de la construcción del gasoducto Néstor Kirchner. “Es una obra estratégica para el país y también nos pondría en un contexto internacional; se podría sacar todo el gas que se puede producir en Vaca Muerta, la segunda reserva a nivel mundial de shale gas. Se podría revertir el declino en el Norte, donde estamos importando gas desde Bolivia y que en futuro se pueda acceder al gas de Vaca Muerta y exportarlo”, auguró.
Además, destacó otras obras que se pondrán en marcha. Una inversión privada de USD 700 millones para el desarrollo del Proyecto Fénix para la producción de gas natural en la Cuenca Austral, frente a las costas de Tierra del Fuego; y otra de más de USD 1.400 millones para aumentar la capacidad en el oleoducto del Valle que conecta el yacimiento con Bahía Blanca.
“Esto habla de toda la magnitud que tiene la Argentina para autoabastecer al país y para que la industria argentina también pueda acceder a un precio competitivo”, destacó Royón. Por último, indicó que proyectos de gas off-shore como el de la Cuenca Austral o en el Mar Argentino poseen “estándares ambientales muy altos”.
