SUMAN 650 CÁMARAS Y RADARES PARA VIGILAR RUTAS Y CAMINOS PROVINCIALES
El Ministerio de Seguridad incorpora 650 cámaras y radares al Sistema Inteligente de Seguridad Provincial (SISPRO), que se suman a las 577 cámaras que ya están en funcionamiento.
El Ministerio de Seguridad ya firmó el contrato para la instalación de los equipos con los que se completarán los anillos de seguridad que cubrirán todo el territorio provincial, ya que serán instalados áreas urbanas, pero también en los 14 ingresos principales por rutas nacionales y provinciales, como también estarán cubiertas unas 140 entradas secundarias por caminos rurales.
Se pensó y planificó una distribución de los equipos a lo largo y ancho de la provincia, cuya instalación es posible gracias a la gran infraestructura de rutas, red de electricidad y red de fibra óptica con que cuenta San Luis.
Estas 650 nuevas cámaras se incorporarán al SISPRO y se sumarán a las 577 cámaras distribuidas por los principales centros poblados, que son operadas desde cuatro centros, dos que funcionan en San Luis ubicados en Terrazas del Portezuelo y en la planta baja del edificio de Turismo; en el Complejo “Molino Fénix” de Villa Mercedes y en la nueva Terminal de Ómnibus de la Villa de Merlo.
Además, se incorporó personal a la Policía y se lo ha puesto a trabajar en la calle cercano al vecino, se han implementado planes de capacitación, se modificó el ingreso al Instituto Provincial de Seguridad Pública, se equipó a la Policía durante todo el año pasado con camionetas, motos, bicicletas, chalecos y armas.
El ministro de Seguridad señaló que el contrato de adjudicación de las cámaras se firmó el 23 de junio de este año con plazo de 150 días para la instalación de la mayoría de los equipos y en meses y adelantó que antes que termine el primer semestre del año próximo los equipos estarán funcionando para el beneficio de todos los puntanos.
