SE ESPERAN GRANDES FESTEJOS POR EL DÍA DE SAN LUIS
Se cumplen 428 años de la Fundación de la ciudad de San Luis este jueves y el Municipio capitalino lo celebrará con música, tradiciones y una misa gaucha católica. Comenzará a las 10 en la Iglesia Catedral; luego, los festejos se trasladarán a Rivadavia y Junín donde habrá presentaciones de bandas locales, una feria de productores y foodtracks. El cierre estará a cargo de la banda tropical “Kábala”.
La misa en honor al santo patrono San Luis rey de Francia será a las 10 en la Iglesia de la ciudad, ubicada frente a la Plaza Pringles. Una vez finalizada la actividad feligresa los fieles harán la procesión por la calle Pringles. La apertura de los festejos será al mediodía de la mano de los pasos de baile del Ballet “Camino por Recorrer”, de la Escuela de Folklore Municipal, y el grupo Terranova.
A las 13.40 se realizará el “Paseo Gaucho”, la Federación Gaucha San Luis recorrerá el centro de la ciudad con la vestimenta y el porte típico de los primeros pobladores de boinas y bombachas. A su regreso habrá una seguidilla de artistas: el taller de Malambo “Chúcaro”, el “Negro” Ferreira, el Ballet Folklórico “Despertares”, Briana Argañaraz y Algarroba.com, la banda puntana con 20 años de trayectoria, cinco discos editados y representante de la provincia en los festivales nacionales.
Por la tarde, a partir de las 16, entrará el rock al escenario con la banda de la Escuela de Música Municipal, “Her.tz.”, La Negra Libre y el grupo tributo a “Los redondos de ricota”, “La Yugular”.
“Valentina Carbajal”, “Kamikaze Dance”, “La Factoría”, “Myo Mov” y Ashaky situarán el festejo en el siglo XXI con el trap y las danzas urbanas. El cierre se lo llevan los géneros tropicales con los ya tradicionales “Chicos Mentha” y “Kábala”.
La celebración de este jueves será la culminación de un ciclo de actividades realizadas por el Municipio durante todo agosto en honor a un nuevo aniversario de San Luis. Mañana, a partir de las once, habrá una intervención artística de danza y música en la Plaza Independencia.
