Con la presencia de los héroes de Malvinas, el Intendente Martín Olivero, legisladores nacionales, provinciales, municipales, familias, vecinos y vecinas, el flamante espacio a la difusión de la Gesta y el recuerdo permanente ya es una realidad en la ciudad más joven.

«Malvinas nos une a todos los argentinos. Reconocimiento eterno y enorme a nuestros héroes», dijo, profundamente conmovido, el Intendente Martín Olivero.

«Es un sueño cumplido. Cuando diagramamos las actividades por los 40 años de Malvinas fueron nuestros Veteranos quienes propusieron esta idea», agregó Olivero sobre el Museo.

El Intendente agradeció la presencia de Veteranos de Guerra de la ciudad de La Punta, Luis Rodríguez, Pedro Miranda y Dionisio Cáceres. Ausente Carlos Diaz, por temas personales; Ana Fiorino, esposa del Veterano de Guerra Ricardo Jaime, fallecido años atrás. Veteranos del Centro 2 de abril, representados por su presidente, Osfaldo Lucero; Veteranos del Valle del Conlara, Marcelo Nollac.

Además, asistieron al acto el diputado Nacional Claudio Poggi; el Senador Provincial Adolfo Castro Luna; Diputadas provinciales Luciana Perano, Eugenia Gallardo y Marisa Patafio; el Presidente del Concejo Deliberante, Mario Gil; Intendentes comisionado de Nogolí, Ramón Funes y el intendente de El Trapiche, Juan Manuel Rigau.

También participaron el Ejército Argentino, banda de música. Policía Federal. Fuerza Aérea Villa Reynolds. Bomberos Voluntarios. Asociación Alas de Cóndores, empleados municipales. Padre Mauro Quevedo.
