EL GOBIERNO DIAGRAMA EL CALENDARIO ESCOLAR PARA 2023 Y SUGIERE FECHA PARA INICIAR LAS CLASES
En la última sesión del Consejo Federal de Educación (CFE), que reúne a todos los ministros del país, el titular de la cartera educativa nacional, Jaime Perczyk planteó como fecha tentativa de inicio el miércoles 1 de marzo y como de finalización el 21 o 22 de diciembre según los feriados provinciales.
También se aprobó una resolución que fija un mínimo de 190 días de clase en todas las provincias. Ya en 2021, tras el cierre de escuelas durante 2020 y la intermitencia posterior, las jurisdicciones habían firmado una resolución en la misma línea, aunque este año la gran mayoría quedó por debajo de esa cifra.
“Los calendarios escolares los define cada provincia y se lo comunican a Nación. Muchas provincias resuelven esta decisión en sus consejos de Educación locales donde trabajan primero las direcciones de nivel en un proceso complejo”, explicaron en la cartera educativa.
Si bien cada provincia tiene autonomía, la gran mayoría iniciaría el 1 de marzo. La presentación de todos los cronogramas estará recién en noviembre, cuando se definen los feriados nacionales y provinciales del año que viene.
Las vacaciones de invierno, por su parte, se ubicarán en bloques de dos semanas durante julio.
En el Gobierno destacan que, al margen de los 190 días de clase, el próximo ciclo lectivo tendrá 38 días extra. A ese número llegan después de sumar la quinta hora de clases que está empezando a implementarse en las primarias públicas. Con la extensión de la jornada, calculan las escuelas pasarían de tener 720 a 950 horas anuales de clase por año -equivalente a 38 días- lo que colocaría a la Argentina entre los países de mayor presencia escolar de la región.
Por ahora son 16 las provincias que comenzaron a aplicar la hora extra de clase en sus escuelas primarias: Tucumán, Santa Cruz, Chaco, Catamarca, Entre Ríos, Tierra del Fuego, Salta, Santa Fe, Corrientes, Río Negro, Formosa, Jujuy, Santiago del Estero, San Juan, Mendoza y Córdoba.
