La iniciativa busca que se reactive el ramal entre Villa Mercedes y Villa Dolores. La cruzada será presentada para que se le de tratamiento en el Congreso Nacional. La idea es conseguir 500 mil firmas.

Alfredo Ricardi, coordinador del Centro Histórico De Reactivación Ferroviaria con sede en Santa Rosa del Conlara, le comentó a ECN que se inició una campaña que busca juntar firmas para que se reactive el ramal Villa Mercedes-Villa Dolores.

Ricardi informó que ya se han instalado los días sábados por la mañana en la plaza Sobremonte de Villa de Merlo y que también asisten a diferentes eventos para que la comunidad pueda peticionar por la vuelta del ferrocarril al Valle del Conlara, después de 30 años.Es una tarea en conjunto con otros centros del país y la idea es llegar a recolectar unas 500 mil firmas y presentarlas en el Congreso Nacional.

«Con el histórico arribo del tren a Justo Daract creció la esperanza de que con el apoyo de la gente podamos lograr el anhelado regreso del tren a nuestros pueblos», expresó el coordinador.

«Tengo mucha fe y veo el entusiasmo de la gente. Necesitamos que el estado nos respalde», cerró Ricardi.
