SE CORTÓ EL SUMINISTRO DE AGUA POTABLE EN VARIAS LOCALIDADES DE LA PROVINCIA
Villa de Merlo, Potrero de los Funes, Villa de la Quebrada y San Francisco del Monte de Oro son algunas de las localidades que más sufren la problemática. Por la sequía y la falta de obras hídricas, en varias localidades del interior se acentúa la histórica problemática.
Este fin de semana, vecinos de Potrero de los Funes cortaron el acceso al pueblo en reclamo por la falta de agua.
De acuerdo a los informado por el medio EcoPress: «En los transcurrido del 2022 llovió menos de la mitad que en el mismo periodo del año pasado, y el dique se encuentra más de 2 metros por debajo de su cota. En ese sentido, la Cooperativa de Agua del Potrero tiene serías dificultades para suministrar el agua potable como es debido, y se ve obligada a cortar el suministro de agua para que la planta potabilizadora vuelva a llenarse, estos cortes se dan casi a diario.», «Si bien la falta de precipitaciones y la sequía exceden al gobierno, los vecinos piden mejoras en las infraestructuras para poder abastecer del servicio.»
En San Francisco la problemática se repite todos los años y tal como ocurre en otros pueblos, a pesar de que allí tiene un dique, el agua de uso humano se extrae de los ríos que en esta época merman su caudal por la falta de lluvias.
Desde la Asociación de Agua Potable informaron que comenzaron a restringir el agua por sectores debido a la escasez de agua que desde los cursos de los ríos ingresa a la planta potabilizadora.
En Villa de Merlo, a comienzos del mes de septiembre se declaró la emergencia hídrica y se restringe el agua potable por sectores.
En tanto en Villa del Quebrada, donde el Gobierno provincial realiza una obra de mejoras en la planta potabilizadora y en la captación del agua del río homónimo, también se nota la merma de los caudales de los ríos y -por ende- falta agua para distribuir a la población. Desde la Municipalidad explicaron los motivos, que en este caso en particular obedecería a los trabajos que se realizan en tal sentido.
