La decisión, dada a conocer en las primeras horas del miércoles a través de la resolución 1849/2022 publicada en el Boletín Oficial, tiene lugar a dos años y medio del comienzo del aislamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio (ASPO) declarado por el Gobierno nacional para paliar los efectos de la pandemia de Covid-19.

Sin embargo, la cartera a cargo de Carla Vizzotti, continúa recomendando el uso de barbijo «en espacios interiores, incluyendo los ámbitos laborales, educativos, sociales y el transporte público».

Entre las «medidas de prevención general» se sugiere asegurar la ventilación de los ambientes; mantener la higiene adecuada y frecuente de manos; ante la presencia de síntomas evitar el contacto con otras personas, no acudir a actividades laborales, sociales, educativas, lugares públicos y evitar el uso de transporte».

Según la resolución, «el SARS-CoV-2 se ha convertido en un virus circulación estacional», lo que hace que la utilización del barbijo quede solo reservada a la presentación de «escenarios particulares».
