MÁS DE 140 VETERANOS DE MALVINAS FUERON HOMENAJEADOS

En el Salón de la Puntanidad de Terrazas del Portezuelo  se realizó un histórico reconocimiento por parte del Gobierno de San Luis a los veteranos del conflicto del Atlántico Sur.

Desde la Presidencia de la Nación se acuñaron monedas conmemorativas, las cuales fueron entregadas por estudiantes y referentes del Ejecutivo puntano, junto con un diploma provincial. El espíritu de este encuentro fue agradecer a los protagonistas y sus familias por el inconmensurable esfuerzo y valentía al defender nuestra patria.

Con motivo de conmemorarse los 40 años de la gesta de Malvinas, durante el 2022, el Gobierno provincial junto a los centros que agrupan a los ex combatientes, han desarrollado diversas acciones con la intención de “malvinizar a la comunidad”. Este miércoles, en este histórico reconocimiento, una vez más, se puso bien en lo alto “el inconmensurable esfuerzo y valentía al defender nuestra patria”, tal como quedó escrito en los diplomas.

Delegaciones escolares acompañadas por sus abanderados y abanderadas y la banda militar “Coronel Juan Pascual Pringles” de la Agrupación de Artillería de Campaña 601 se adhirieron a esta nutrida ceremonia que se desarrolló en un clima familiar, ya que los gloriosos ex combatientes llegaron acompañados por sus seres queridos.

El ministro de Gobierno, Justicia y Culto, Fabián Filomena, encabezó la ceremonia junto al director de Relaciones Institucionales y Culto, Daniel González Espíndola. El Gobierno nacional también se adhirió al homenaje y estuvo representado por el jefe de Gabinete de la Secretaría de Malvinas, Antártida y Atlántico Sur, del Ministerio de Relaciones, Comercio Internacional y Culto, Jorge Poblette.

En las monedas alusivas acuñadas por la Casa de la Moneda, y que ahora están en manos de los ex combatientes, figuran las islas y del otro lado el escudo nacional. “Esta gesta nos une a todos y nuestra obligación es transmitir la causa Malvinas para que las nuevas generaciones no se olviden de nuestros héroes”, sostuvo González Espíndola.

El estudiante Joaquín Herrera, de 17 años, que integra el Centro de Estudiantes de la escuela “Germán Avé Lallemant”, remarcó: “Desde que tengo uso de razón que escucho de la gesta. Hoy, en representación de las juventudes de la provincia me toca expresar nuestro eterno agradecimiento y el orgullo que sentimos por ustedes”.

Por su parte, el funcionario nacional dijo que estaba muy emocionado por esta invitación y entre otros conceptos, dijo que “por disposición del Presidente de la Nación se está llevando a todos los foros internacionales la reafirmación de la soberanía argentina sobre las Islas Malvinas”.
