En tanto el costo de la Canasta Básica Total (CBT), que marca el umbral por debajo del cual se cae en la pobreza, alcanzó en septiembre lo $ 128.214 con un aumento también del 7,1% mensual.

En los primeros nueve meses del año, el valor de la CBA se incrementó el 64,8 %, mientras que el de la CBT avanzó 60,2 %.

Esta diferencia entre ambas canastas se debe a que los precios de las tarifas del transporte y los servicios públicos tuvieron incrementos por debajo de los alimentos.

Entre septiembre de este año e igual mes del 2021, el precio de la CBA se incrementó a 78,4% y el de la CBT a 73,1% .

El Índice de Precios al Consumidor aumentó durante septiembre 6,2% y acumuló un alza del 66,1 % para los nueves primeros meses del año, y del 83 % en los últimos 12 meses.

La suba en el rubro «Alimentos y bebidas no alcohólicas», con el 6,7%, resultó la de mayor incidencia en todas las regiones. En lo que va del año ese segmento aumentó 69,5 % y un 86,6 % en los últimos 12 meses.

Al término del primer semestre del año, el 36,5% de los habitantes del país estaban bajo la linea de la pobreza, y entre ellos, 8,8% eran indigentes, es decir, no les alcanzaba el dinero para comprar la cantidad mínima de comida para alimentarse.

El índice de pobreza bajó 0,8 puntos porcentuales respecto al cierre del año pasado, cuando alcanzó el 37,3%, pero aumentó 0,6 puntos el de indigencia, que se encontraba en 8,2%, informó el Indec.
